On Aug. 4, Live Oak City Hall will be closed for in-person water payment services due to the replacement of an old generator.
The generator replacement is part of a citywide initiative that is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act, and it works to replace generators throughout the city to ensure they are operating during times of emergency.
From noon-5 p.m. Aug. 4, the City Hall generator will be replaced, which will make the payment systems for water bills unavailable until the replacement is complete.
Utility bill payments will still be available online or by dropping them off at the front parking lot drop box. Drop-off payments will be posted Aug. 7.
