What you need to know
Bexar County Commissioners Court will hold a fiscal year 2024-25 budget presentation Aug. 20. Until then, residents can attend one of the four budget town hall meetings as well as fill out a county survey that can be found here.
The survey asks residents to identify three top priorities out of a list as well as answer two open-ended questions to identify a priority of least interest and what other questions or concerns a resident might have.
The specifics
The four town halls with Sakai and a commissioner from each precinct will be held as follows:
- Aug. 13, 6 p.m., Meals on Wheels, 2718 Danbury St., San Antonio, with Sakai and Precinct 3 Commissioner Moody
- Aug. 15, 6 p.m., Westside Education & Training Center, 610 SW 41st St., San Antonio, with Sakai and Precinct 2 Commissioner Justin Rodriguez
- Aug. 21, 6 p.m., CentroMed Health & Wellness Center, 3800 Commercial Ave., San Antonio, with Sakai and Precinct 1 Commissioner Rebecca Clay-Flores
- Aug. 22, 6 p.m., Second Baptist Church Community Center, 3310 E. Commerce St., San Antonio, with Sakai and Precinct 4 Commissioner Tommy Calvert
