Schertz staff is looking for resident feedback on the city's master plan for parks, recreation, open space and trails.

What you need to know

This plan helps serve as a guide over the next 5-10 years, which parks and recreation staff can use to enhance city parks and open spaces. Schertz currently has 28 parks, which includes 17 playgrounds and more than 25 miles of trails.

Survey cards were mailed to select residents, which includes a survey code to be submitted. Those who did not receive a card can still participate in the survey.

Alongside the survey, residents can use an interactive map to highlight areas they feel need improvement.

The survey will close at noon on Aug. 2. Additional information can be found here.
