Organizations that serve Cibolo residents can apply for the Strategic Partnership Grant Program from the city of Cibolo.

This grant is an initiative from city officials to support local organizations that provide assistance to residents, promote active lifestyles or provide unique events that promote Cibolo’s historic roots, according to the city website.

The details

In the fiscal year 2023-24 budget, the City Council allocated $10,000 to be used for the Strategic Partnership Grant Program.

Organizations can submit projects for grant funding. Projects submitted should align with the city of Cibolo’s City Council Strategic Plan.

Strategies within the plan include:
  • Build strong connections and relationships with community partners, residents, and employees.
  • Promote active lifestyles for all ages by providing opportunities to recreate.
  • Support youth activities.
  • Provide unique, outdoor and/or memorable experiences.
The full plan can be found here. Organizations can apply online on the city website, or print a copy of the application and email it to Bryan Hugghins at [email protected] and Nicole Perez at [email protected].

Applications will be accepted through Feb. 29. In March, Cibolo City Council will review applications and award the grants.
