On Jan. 8, the Utility Billing Office moved back into Cibolo City Hall.

The background

In May, renovations on the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system and other improvements to Cibolo City Hall began.

According to city staff, the Cibolo City Hall building is around 20 years old and was due for renovations to give city staff a code-compliant working environment.

City Council approved a bid for the replacement of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system as well as other building renovations in the amount of $1.82 million, which was funded through certificates of obligation approved in 2022.

During the renovation process, the Utility Billing Office and Municipal Court were relocated. The Municipal Court was moved back into City Hall in early December.
