In August, the city closed the former Hilltop Playground to replace old equipment with updated playground materials.
The new playground features slides, climbable walls and other equipment for children to enjoy. The expanded area also boasts two picnic sites, five bench pads and a fitness zone located by the round pavilion.
The Treehouse Playground is the second playground at Main City Park to be updated, with Acorn Playground opening in December 2022. Both playgrounds are forest themed, featuring equipment mimicking acorns, trees and rocks.
