Each year, the BISSELL Pet Foundation sponsors a nationwide Empty the Shelters event, which has helped 226,296 pets get adopted since 2016, according to the organization website.
Cibolo Animal Services is participating in this initiative, to help free up space in the 12 kennel facility.
Adoption fees will be set to $25 for dogs and cats. Those looking to adopt can visit the Animal Services facility at 108 Cibolo Drive Building, Ste. 300, Cibolo, or call 210-659-4851.
