With Spring underway, Cibolo city staff is inviting residents to engage in Spring cleaning activities around the city.

Over the course of three weekends, cleanup events will take place in Cibolo. On March 22-24 and 28-30, bulk dumpsters will be set up in the City Hall parking lot.

From 8 a.m.-5 p.m. each day, residents can dispose of unwanted household items. Residents will be limited to two pickup truck loads or one 16-by-8-foot trailer. A city of Cibolo utility bill and ID will be required prior to disposal.

On March 23, household hazardous waste will be accepted. This includes items such as tires, paint, aerosol dispensers, varnish, acetone and other household waste.


On April 6, paper shredding will be set up in the City Hall parking lot. Basura Bash will also be held April 6, inviting residents to volunteer to collect trash throughout the community.

Registration for Basura Bash will begin at 7:30 a.m., and the cleanup event will be held from 8-11 a.m. Participants are encouraged to wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts and closed-toe shoes.
