Each year, the city of Live Oak hosts a Shindig on Shin Oak, which is a celebration for the city.

The community is invited to enjoy live music by The Spazmatics, carnival activities and family-friendly fun.

Activities for children to partake in include face painting, balloon artists, a petting zoo, yard games and other outdoor activities.
