Registration for the Schertz Summer Reading Experience began May 27, inviting the community to read throughout the summer in exchange for prizes.

Through this program, residents can read, make new things and explore areas to earn a shirt.

Requirements for the prize are to complete six books or read for six hours, make six things of choice and describe them, and explore six places and record the activities.

Once the requirements are met, the completed experience log can be turned in at the library for a prize.

Logs must be submitted by July 29 at 4 p.m. For those who are unable to make it to the library, completed cards can be emailed to [email protected].
