Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8315 in Schertz—alongside the cities of Schertz, Cibolo and Selma and The Chamber (Schertz-Cibolo-Selma area)—will host a Memorial Day ceremony May 29.

The ceremony will honor those who have died while serving in the United States military.

Plans for the event are to have the ceremony at Veterans Memorial Plaza, located at 512 Schertz Parkway, Schertz. In the event of rain, the event will be held across the street at Knights of Columbus, located at 509 Schertz Parkway, Schertz. The event will begin at 9 a.m.
