Basura Bash invites residents for a volunteer trash pickup event to help prevent litter from reaching city waterways.
This event was delayed from its original date of March 18 due to inclement weather. Throughout the month of March, the city held various events to help clean the city.
For the Basura Bash event, long sleeves, pants, closed-toed shoes and gloves are recommended.
The cleanup will be held from 8 a.m.-noon, and registration will be held from 7-8 a.m. Registration is available online.
