The 12th Annual Hal Baldwin Golf Tournament will be held Nov. 18 in Universal City.

The event acts as a fundraiser benefiting the Hal Baldwin Scholarship, which is awarded to students in Schertz who are pursuing a public service career path.

Hal Baldwin served the city for 30 years and, during that time, held positions as assistant city manager, civic volunteer and City Council member. During his 30-year tenure he also served for nearly 17 years as mayor.

Activities at the tournament will include raffle prizes, contests and other scheduled fun for participants to enjoy.

Individual registration is $90 until Nov. 16 and $105 on Nov. 17 and 18. Check-in for the event begins at 7 a.m., and a shotgun start will be held at 9 a.m.

The tournament will be held at the Olympia Hills Golf and Conference Center, 12900 Mt. Olympus, Universal City.
