June 17 and 18 Learn about amateur radio

The San Antonio Radio Club will be hosting the 7th Annual Radio Fiesta in Schertz. The event aims to bring together amateur radio operators, vendors and those interested in the hobby.

Attendees can explore, test and attend informational sessions about amateur radio while browsing the selection of flea market vendors.

The event will run from 1-5 p.m. on June 17 and from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on June 18. $20. Schertz Civic Center, 1400 Schertz Parkway, Schertz

June 18 Celebrate Juneteenth


Real Life Amphitheater will host the Juneteenth Family Festival featuring activities and entertainment for all ages. Notable activities include a carnival, a concert, a 5K walk/run and more to help celebrate.

Perpetual Innovations is partnering with the Impact Network and other community leaders to host the event from 8 a.m.-10 p.m.

June 18 Enjoy summer with Splashfest


Universal City will bring back Splashfest with 17 inflatable rides for families to enjoy. Splashfest will feature a day of water slides, games and more activities encouraging residents to have fun under the sun.

The event will also have a DJ and concessions set up. Wristbands will allow children 3 and older to enjoy unlimited activities.
