June 3: Kick off pool season

The city of Live Oak is kicking off the summer pool season, welcoming families back to a summer of swimming. Live Oak residents can show a valid driver’s license and receive a discounted rate. June 4: Go fishing

The city of Live Oak is hosting a Jr. Fishing Day for children age 13 and younger. Participants can catch catfish while enjoying the warm weather. Children are encouraged to bring their own equipment, but those without a fishing rod may check one out on a first-come, first-served basis. Adult supervision is required for young children, and adults are not permitted to fish until the event concludes. 7-11 a.m. Free (admission). June 4: Enjoy a father and daughter dance



Universal City is presenting a father daughter dance event with a night full of dinner, dancing and fun. The theme for the event is Moche de Encanto, with dinner including a taco and nacho bar with a raspa desert bar. All ages are welcome to attend, and any parent figure is welcome to accompany a daughter or daughters. Space for the event is limited with attendees encouraged to purchase tickets online. 6-9 p.m. $20 per person.
