Guadalupe County and Bexar County have released unofficial voting numbers for an at-large election for Universal City City Council.

What you need to know

The City Council for Universal City has three seats on the line, with four candidates in the running.

Christina Fitzpatrick, Bear Goolsby and Ashton Bulman are unofficial winners with 602 votes, or 31.42%; 548 votes, or 28.60%; and 427 votes, or 22.29%. Patrick Day has 339 votes, 17.69% of the vote, according to unofficial results so far.


Incumbents Fitzpatrick and Bulman have each served a two-year term on council, earning 716 and 586 votes in the May 2023 general election, respectively, according to the Universal City elections website. Goolsby has served on Universal City Council for 10 years, receiving 591 votes in the May 2023 election.

Digging deeper

All 246 voting centers in Bexar County have reported votes, with 116,483 ballots cast representing 9.26% of Bexar County's 1.26 million voters.

A total of 1,012 ballots were cast in Guadalupe County, which represents 3.75% of Guadalupe County's 26,952 voters.

Christina Fitzpatrick, Bear Goolsby and Ashton Bulman are leading with 518 votes, or 31.24%; 484 votes, or 29.19%; and 364 votes, or 21.95%. Patrick Day has 292 votes, 17.61% of the vote, according to unofficial results so far.


Incumbents Fitzpatrick and Bulman have each served a two-year term on council, earning 716 and 586 votes in the May 2023 general election, respectively, according to the Universal City elections website. Goolsby has served on Universal City Council for 10 years, receiving 591 votes in the May 2023 election.

So far, 181 of the 246 voting centers in Bexar County have reported votes, with 102,650 ballots cast representing 8.16% of Bexar County's 1.26 million voters.

What you need to know

The City Council for Universal City has three seats on the line, with four candidates in the running.

Christina Fitzpatrick, Bear Goolsby and Ashton Bulman are leading with 454 votes or 31.86%, 429 votes or 30.18% and 300 votes or 21.12%. Patrick Day has 239 votes, 16.84% of the vote, according to unofficial early voting results.

Incumbents Fitzpatrick and Bulman have each served a two-year term on council, earning 716 and 586 votes in the May 2023 general election, respectively, according to the Universal City elections website. Goolsby has served on Universal City Council for 10 years, receiving 591 votes in the May 2023 election.

In early voting, there were 74,092 ballots cast in Bexar County, which represents 5.8% of Bexar County’s 1,258,413 voters.

A total of 625 early voting ballots were cast in Guadalupe County, which represents 2.32% of Guadalupe County’s 26,952 voters.
