Early voting for the Schertz runoff election began Nov. 27, inviting residents to vote for a new Schertz City Council Place 4 representative.

What you need to know

Tiffany M Gibson and Michael Armstrong are running for the position, as the candidates were the top two vote getters during the Nov. 7 election, which had four candidates in the running. Neither candidate garnered 50% of the vote in the Nov. 7 election, resulting in a runoff election.

The last days for early voting are Dec. 4 and 5. Two polling locations will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

  • Guadalupe County Elections Office , 215 S. Milam St., Seguin
The Schertz Community Center is the only polling location listed for the Dec. 9 runoff election day.

Polls will close at 7 p.m., and results will be tallied that evening. Following the unofficial results, Schertz officials will canvass the results and swear in the candidate who receives the majority vote.
