Universal City will receive two new council members following the results of the May 6 election.
Christina Fitzpatrick led with 714, 22.36%, of votes while incumbent Bear Goolsby received 589, 18.45%, of votes and Ashton Bulman received 584, 18.29%.
Bernard Rubal received 505, 15.82%, of votes while incumbent Richard “Dick” Neville received 461, 14.44%, and Richard Edwards received 340, 10.65%.
In Universal City, City Council seats are at-large, meaning the top three vote getters–Fitzpatrick, Goolsby and Bulman–will be sworn in following the canvassing of votes.
