Schertz-Cibolo-Universal ISD will have three board of trustees positions on the November ballot.

Places 1, 2 and 3 are up for election this year with the positions held by Gerald "Jerry" Perkins, Robert M. Westbrook and Letticia Sever, respectively.

Filing for a place on the ballot ended Aug. 22, and four candidates applied for the available positions, according to the SCUCISD election website.

Perkins and Sever are the only candidates who applied for their respective positions, meaning they will be sworn in to continue serving on the board.

For Place 2, Margaret A. Carlin and Alberto Ramirez were the only candidates who applied. Following the canvassing of votes, the candidate with the most votes will take the position held by Robert M. Westbrook.

Elected officials will serve until the November 2027 election. The last day to register to vote is Oct. 10, and early voting will begin Oct. 23.
