Judson ISD on June 5 opened registration applications for school-of-choice students.

The school-of-choice program allows students within the district to attend the school of their choosing.

To take part in the program, families will need to fill out an application and questionnaire regarding the school-of-choice process.

For school-of-choice students, transportation will not be provided to the school that was chosen.

Students will also be required to remain in good standing, maintain satisfactory attendance and exhibit satisfactory conduct. Students who do not meet these requirements could have the transfer revoked.

The registration period for school-of-choice students will end June 23. Registration for out-of-district students will open in July, and registration for returning students will end on the first day of school Aug. 16.
