Salata is planning to open a new location, according to permits filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The salad restaurant chain has over 90 locations nationwide, including four in San Antonio.

Renovations to the existing 2,732-square-foot store are expected to begin Oct. 1 and wrap up by Dec. 1, with an estimated cost of $250,000, according to the permit filing. However, projects filed with the TDLR are subject to change.

Representatives of Salata confirmed an opening date has not been announced.
