Smokey Mo’s BBQ will celebrate the grand opening of its University of Texas at San Antonio location from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 21.

The grand opening will feature specials, radio appearances and giveaways, including a chance to win free Smokey Mo’s BBQ for a year.

The UTSA restaurant is the barbecue joint’s sixth greater San Antonio location. Using a signature dry rub, featured meats include turkey, sausage, ribs, brisket and chicken. Sides include bacon-cheddar potatoes, roasted creamed corn, mac and cheese, and pinto beans. The restaurant also serves traditional Texas desserts like banana pudding and pecan pie.
