The Jr. Academy is open to students entering the fifth or sixth grade, and the High School Fire Academy is open to students entering grades 9-12 in the upcoming 2023-24 school year.
Academy training will include sessions on hazmat response, rope rescue, fire streams, vehicle extrication and other topics. Students are asked to wear school-appropriate clothing with no open-toed shoes.
Classes will be held June 5-9 with Jr. classes held from 8 a.m.-noon and High School classes held from 12:30-4:30 p.m.
