The city of Universal City began construction on a new project at Veterans Park.

This project will add a playscape to the park which includes slides, benches and other amenities. Play equipment is targeted for children ages 5-12.

Project completion is expected in the summer, and the project will be funded through the city with a project cost to be determined.
