The city of Schertz will host two public hearings Aug. 23 and Sept. 6 to review the fiscal year 2022-23 proposed budget.

The meetings will include budget highlights and will answer questions regarding new programs, services and projects the city will be working on throughout the next fiscal year.

City Council will hold the first vote on the budget following the public hearing Sept. 6 with the second vote held Sept. 13.

With the success of both vote sessions, the budget will go into effect Oct. 1.

Meetings will be held during scheduled City Council Meetings which begin at 6 p.m. Council meetings are held at the Hal Baldwin Municipal Complex, located at 1400 Schertz Parkway, Bldg. 5, Schertz.
