The city of Selma announced that City Hall began an expansion project to the parking lot June 6.

According to Assistant to the City Administrator Wyatt Agee, the project is expected to be finished in September, depending on weather and supply chain.

The project will cost approximately $54,000, being funded through the city budget as part of the City Hall expansion project that began in 2020. During the expansion, certain areas of the City Hall complex will be fenced off and closed to traffic and parking.

City Hall visitors will be able to access the front and rear parking areas by using entrance and exit points along Corporate Drive and Margie’s Lane.
