Abel's Diner, located at 17327 I-35 N. frontage road, Ste. 200 in Schertz, changed ownership at the beginning of January.

The diner was previously owned by Abel Gomez, who handed over the location to Lourdes Jimenez. Restaurant staff told Community Impact that nothing has changed with the diner, with the same name, menu items and employees, citing Gomez's prior work as a reason not to switch anything.
