Thrifty Hippie Community Thrift Store celebrated a grand opening if officials and staff from the city of Universal City.

The store offers a selection of jewelry, clothing, holiday goods and other items. As an aim to help with affordability, clothes in the store are offered for $3.50.

The nonprofit helps fund the True Life Church - Food Distribution Center, Texas Ramp Project and other initiatives.

Alongside these initiatives, the organization aims to host two groups each month, with one group helping with food for the homeless, and the other focused on bringing people together for fellowship and crafts.
