According to a news release, drivers in the area should utilize a series of detours to avoid construction.
Loop 1604 eastbound west of I-35 to Loop 1604 eastbound east of I-35
Drivers on Loop 1604 eastbound main lanes should use the collector ramp to enter I-35 southbound and then exit at Pat Booker Road. Turn right on the I-35 Access Road Bridge to reach I-35 northbound frontage road and access Loop 1604 eastbound frontage road. After the Pat Booker Road intersection, drivers can use the next entrance ramp to get back on Loop 1604.
Loop 1604 westbound to I-35 southbound
Traffic on Loop 1604 westbound main lanes will use the collector ramp to enter I-35 northbound main lanes. To get back on Loop 1604 westbound or to access I-35 southbound, drivers should use Exit 173 to Olympia Parkway. Take the Olympia Parkway bridge to I-35 southbound frontage road and use the next entrance ramp. Drivers can get back on Loop 1604 westbound via the I-35 southbound connector ramp to westbound Loop 1604.
I-35 northbound to Loop 1604 westbound
Traffic on the I-35 northbound main lanes will use Exit 173 to Olympia Parkway and take the Olympia Parkway bridge to access the I-35 southbound frontage road. Drivers can use the next entrance ramp to enter the I-35 southbound main lanes. To enter the Loop 1604 westbound main lanes, drivers can continue to the collector ramp to the Loop 1604 westbound main lanes.
I-35 southbound to Loop 1604 eastbound/Pat Booker Road
Drivers on I-35 southbound should use the Loop 1604 westbound collector ramp, exit at Lookout Road and turn around to enter the Loop 1604 eastbound frontage road. Follow signs to the I-35 southbound frontage road and Pat Booker Road intersection. Turn right on the I-35 Access Road Bridge and stay on I-35 northbound frontage road to Pat Booker Road. Drive through the intersection and use the next entrance ramp to access Loop 1604 eastbound.
