Drivers along the I-10 and Loop 1604 North San Antonio corridors will want to take precaution to a number of lane, ramp and frontage road closures ranging between Jan.12-20, as announced by the Texas Department of Transportation on Jan. 10.

What you need to know

Commuters driving along the Loop 1604 and I-10 interchange should take precautions to avoid Segment 2 alternating overnight closures of the I-10 eastbound and westbound frontage roads from Camp Bullis Road to De Zavala Road. The closures will last each day from 9 p.m.-5 a.m.

According to a news release from the agency, the same alternating timeline will be in place for the eastbound and westbound main lanes of I-10 from Camp Bullis Road to De Zavala Road.

There will also be alternating entrance and exit ramp closures in the same time frame on the I-10 and Loop 1604 bypass lanes and clover leaf ramps.

Eastbound and westbound frontage road and main lane closures will also occur Jan. 12-20 along I-10 from Vance Jackson Road to La Cantera Parkway for bridge construction.

Beyond the I-10 and Loop 1404 interchange, drivers should expect alternating intersection closures and various underpasses and frontage roads for road and bridge construction along Segment 1—from I-10 to Bandera Road along Loop 1604—and Segment 3—along Loop 1604 from I-10 to US 281.
