San Antonio city officials are replacing existing pavement that has deteriorated on
Floyd Curl Drive from Huebner Road to Charles Katz Drive.
The detailsAccording to
city documents, the construction project is part of the 2022-2027 Bond program that authorizes roadway improvements. The project will primarily focus on replacing existing pavement that has cracked due to heavy traffic in the Medical Center area.
City officials intend to maintain existing sidewalks and landscaping, where feasible, but rehabilitation may also include improving curbs and driveway approaches.
Improvements include:- 8 inches of concrete
- 6 inches of cement
- A 1-inch hydraulic barrier along the curbs
Construction is estimated to be completed by spring 2025.
