The details
According to city documents, the project will widen approximately 0.4 miles of Babcock Road into a four-lane roadway with a center turn lane. Construction is slated to begin in winter 2025 and is estimated to be completed by winter 2027.
Improvements include:
- Adding sidewalks, curbs and driveway approaches
- Adding a mid-block pedestrian crossing
- Drainage improvements
