Real estate data for ZIP codes in North San Antonio shows mixed movement on median home prices when comparing April 2023 to April 2024. The 78231 ZIP code—which includes parts of Shavano Park—showed a 37.78% decline in values year over year when comparing April 2023 to April 2024.

The breakdown

The San Antonio Board of Realtors recently released data showing single-digit percent year-over-year price increases in the 78232, 78248 and 78259 ZIP codes. Median home prices were down 10% in 78260 to $540,000 and down 1.93% in 78258 to $495,250.


Homes sales volume was mixed, with sales increases in ZIP codes 78230, 78231, 78248, 78259 and 78260, according to the data.


The amount of time homes spent on the market was up slightly in every ZIP code except 78231 where homes stayed on the market for an average of 46 days, down from 73 days in April 2023.
