Singles Professional Network of San Antonio celebrated its 35th anniversary April 1 with a dinner event in Bulverde that included the installation of a new board of directors.
Leslie White, vice president and public relations director;
Activities Director Dolly Isakson;
Treasurer and Membership Director Martha Robbins;
Newsletter editor Noey Pena; and
Hospitality Director Susanne Sotack.
SPN officials said their nonprofit is an organization of professional single men and women, age 55 and over, dedicated to enhancing members’ lives through fun social events that encourage face-to-face interaction with other San Antonio-area professional singles.
Edmond joined Community Impact in August 2021, helping to launch new editions in the San Antonio metro. Edmond covers various beats in the North San Antonio coverage area. He previously was the main reporter for Local Community News, covering several areas in and around San Antonio. Prior to that, Edmond was a reporter for Prime Time Newspapers, a chain of San Antonio community weeklies, and the San Antonio Express-News, including editing two community weeklies. He's a San Antonio native, and studied mass communications at San Antonio College and Texas State University. He enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with his friends and pets in his downtime.
