More than 35 South Texas auto dealerships are joining together once again for the SA Auto Dealers’ annual Dealers Aligned campaign, which raises funds for a different area nonprofit each year.

According to a news release, funds are raised by participating auto dealers who have volunteered to donate $10 from every wheel alignment they perform throughout the month of September.

Based in the Shavano Park area, SA Auto Dealers is comprised of franchised new car and truck dealers from San Antonio and the surrounding area who are committed to educating and advocating for those in the automotive industry as well as those who are served by it, the release said.

The dealers will donate 100% of the funds from this year’s campaign to Rise Recovery, a nonprofit that provides services to help teenagers, young adults and families overcome the effects of drugs and alcohol as well as partner with the community in education and prevention, the release said.

“This is truly a community-driven project by auto dealerships in San Antonio and surrounding areas who believe in giving back to organizations dedicated to helping people here in South Texas,” SADA President Pamela Crail said.

Crail said SADA members appreciate their customers’ ability to help raise the funds that support the Dealers Aligned campaign.

“If you need a wheel alignment, there is no better time to do it than in September. By simply servicing your car as usual, you can help make a world of difference in the lives of others,” Crail said.

The campaign will receive a boost from Texas Cavaliers, who have committed to matching the dollars raised by this year’s Dealers Aligned initiative. Last year, between SADA and the Texas Cavaliers matching grant, the two organizations were able to make a gift of $100,000 to Haven for Hope, the release said.

Participating dealership companies in Dealers Aligned for this year include Ancira, Audi, Cavender, Gunn Automotive Group, Ingram Park, Jaguar Land Rover, Jordan Ford, North Park, Principle, Red McCombs and World Car.
