San Antonio Public Library’s Brook Hollow Branch, 530 Heimer Road, reopened to the public July 29 following a replacement of the library’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.

According to a news release, Brook Hollow Branch closed in late April for the scheduled maintenance.

The reopening signals a return to regular service for the Brook Hollow Branch, which is open Monday and Tuesday noon-8 p.m. and Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

The library also offers free Wi-Fi public access 7:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m. daily.

The upgrade to the building’s HVAC systems will help maintain a comfortable environment for Brook Hollow patrons and staff, the release states.

During the closure, interim library service was provided at the Walker Ranch Senior Center.

Brook Hollow Branch Library originally opened in 1983, and was remodeled and expanded in 1997, the release states.
