Methodist Hospital Texsan on Feb. 24 celebrated the opening of the Heart and Lung Institute, completing the full spectrum of the cardiovascular program, according to a Feb. 24 news release.

The details

The new institute gives the community a new location to receive care from, further expanding services offered by Methodist Healthcare. According to the hospital website, the clinic will diagnose and treat a range of cardiovascular conditions, including:
  • Aortic aneurysm
  • Heart arrhythmia
  • Heart disease
  • Heart failure
  • Lung disease and cancer
  • Pulmonary disease
  • Other heart and lung related conditions
“This new clinic not only enhances our ability to deliver specialized heart failure care but also opens doors to new possibilities and collaborations to bring advanced and thoughtful care to more patients in need,” said Javier Amione Guerra, cardiologist at Methodist Hospital Texsan, in the release.
