Hill Country Village City Council adopted the fiscal year 2024-25 tax rate during its Sept. 19 meeting, making it the 10th year that the city has not raised taxes.

The overview

Though the adopted property tax rate remains at $0.145 per $100 valuation, due to rising property values the city will raise an additional 4.68% in property tax revenue.

The city estimates a total revenue of $2.16 million for FY 2024-25, which is $45,724 more than FY 2023-24’s actual revenue of $2.1 million.
Though the town of Hollywood Park will increase its revenues, the budget also estimates that the cost of expenses will rise. This includes around $38,825 for personnel services and $53,400 for supplies and materials.
