San Antonio Animal Care Services on Dec. 14 launched “Kindness Unleashed” where ACS is partnering with all 10 council district offices to collect a total of 5,000 pounds of pet food to benefit local pets and families in need. The pet food drive ends Jan. 12.
ACS officials said the council district that receives the most pet food will receive a Golden Paw Award.

ACS officials said donations can be dropped off at the main ACS campus, 4710 Hwy. 151, or any council district field office:
