The Shavano Park Police Department said Dec. 8 it is investigating two incidents in which gunshots were heard shortly after midnight Dec. 8 along De Zavala Road and Northwest Military Highway.
In a news release, police said a vehicle was seen driving past the Shavano Park City Hall complex when an occupant fired at least 12 shots in the direction of the police station.
A Shavano Park police officer was outside the municipal complex and witnessed the gunshots, the release said.
Several rounds struck two parked and unattended police vehicles in the parking lot, the release said.
Investigators have recovered evidence and continue to work leads on both cases, police said, adding there was minor damage to the vehicles but no injuries reported.
The police department said it is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects. Video surveillance in the area shows the suspect vehicle to be a white four-door sedan, possibly a newer-model Honda Civic. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call 210-492-9248 for details.
