March 25 is the deadline for Hollywood Park residents to submit questions ahead of an April 4 City Council candidate forum.

The forum, being held by the city and the Hollywood Park Community Association, begins at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 2 Mecca Drive, where residents will be able to meet individuals running for local public office.

Those candidates include Michael Hall and Todd Kounse, both of whom are vying for the Place 2 council seat, the lone contested race that will be on Hollywood Park’s ballot during the May 7 municipal elections.

Other filed candidates are Council Member Sean Moore, the lone mayoral applicant, and Wendy Gonzalez, the lone applicant for the Place 4 council post.

Residents wishing to pose a question of the contestants must email [email protected] with their full name and address.

The forum will be livestreamed at the town of Hollywood Park’s YouTube channel, which can be found at https://hollywoodpark-tx.gov/watch-videos.
