The following holiday events are happening in San Antonio between the end of November and into December. Additional information about each event can be found on each event's respective website. This list is not comprehensive.

November

ICE!

The holiday exhibit will feature 20,000 square feet of over 10 immersive tunnels, arches and slides made of ice from scenes and characters of Dr. Seuss’ "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." 40 master ice artisans from Harbin, China will dedicate nearly 40 days to hand sculpting the attraction.The Rock at La Cantera Winterfest

The Spurs-affiliated entertainment park will host its first holiday event featuring ice skating, a holiday market, photos with Santa and other holiday activities. There will be movie nights and seasonal drinks to purchase.Ford Holiday River Parade


The 43rd Annual Ford Holiday River Parade will bring illuminated floats and over 100,000 holiday lights to the San Antonio River Walk. The lights will remain on the River Walk until the weekend after the start of the new year.December

Santa’s Wonderland

Families will be able to take free photos with Santa, make crafts, enjoy a petting zoo and a bouncy house at Tuscany Center next to the Stone Oak Plaza retail center.Holiday weekends at Historic Market Square

Starting Dec. 8, guests can enjoy live music and shop local vendors' food and artisan booths during select weekends in December. Photos and letters with Santa will also be available.Ford Holiday Boat Caroling on the River Walk


Friends and family will be able to spread joy this holiday season by caroling on a river boat at the San Antonio River Walk. Boat capacity is for 12 people. Registration starts at the International Building, 203 S. St. Mary's St., San Antonio.
