Dine at Z’Tejas
Z'Tejas is celebrating Mexican Independence Day by serving the traditional dish Chiles en Nogada for a limited time. This dish features roasted poblano peppers stuffed with a mixture of ground beef, pork and fruits like apples, pears, raisins and topped with a walnut cream sauce, pomegranate seeds and parsley, symbolizing the colors of the Mexican flag.

Hispanic Heritage Exhibition Walk
Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos will host a community walk for people of all ages that will begin at Centro Cultural Hispano de San Marcos and culminate at Hays County Historic Courthouse with vendors, food and entertainment.
