What’s happening?
The two organizations will be unveiling "Puro Puppy Love" Aug. 8 at 10 a.m., a new mural at Pearl through the end of August.
The mural, designed by The Doseum, features over 150 tennis balls, celebrating the bond between humans and their canine companions, according to a news release.
The Doseum will be handing out free doggie bandanas and there will be other giveaways while supplies last to those who attend with their pets.
What else?
Dog Days of Summer will also be happening at Pearl Aug. 9, 9 a.m.-noon and Aug. 24, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
The event features music, a dog parade, photo ops, pet caricatures and other activities by The Doseum. Participating organizations include Good Dog, K9 for Warriors, Paws for Service, SnipSA and Guide Dogs of Texas.
