Spurs Sports & Entertainment will hold a back-to-school-celebration Aug. 8, providing free school supplies and other resources.

What you need to know

According to a media release, the third annual event will offer a range of free resources and services, including:
  • School supplies for K-12 grade levels
  • Vaccines
  • Vision checks
  • Dental screenings
  • Haircut by appointment through the registration link
  • Information booths for school enrollment, extracurricular activities and mental health support
Parents or guardians must be present with their children, and educators must have their teacher ID upon entering the event. Items and services will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and only while supplies last.

In the two years since it launched, the SS&E Back to School Bash has drawn over 10,500 attendees. In 2023, the event provided over 1,200 health screenings, 700 dental screenings and cleanings and 11,000 school supplies, according to the release.
