The Holocaust Memorial Museum of San Antonio is co-hosting a special traveling exhibit designed to convey the strife that Holocaust victims endured during World War II.

The background

The traveling program, “Hate Ends Now: The Cattle Car Exhibit,” began displaying at the Holocaust museum and memorial facility in North San Antonio on Jan. 29 and will wrap up the local visit Feb. 6.

According to event organizers, the exhibit is presented through the replica of a train cattle car featuring moving holographic images and narration by Holocaust survivors.

Museum officials said the exhibit is open to general admission visitors, classes of students and groups of 20, with attendees exposed to the origins and aftermath of the Holocaust via the collection of photographs, posters, documents and film footage dating from 1933-1945.
