San Antonio Pets Alive will have a pet adoption event at Alamo Beer Co. Each adoption fee is $50. Alamo will also unveil a new SAPA beer label showcasing SAPA’s Pawparazzi pet photo contest winner, Nairobi. Alamo will donate $1 to SAPA for every draft beer sold.June 3


Individuals living with and affected by scleroderma will gather in the annual San Antonio area Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Walk. Scleroderma is a rare rheumatic disease that affects connective tissue and the vascular system, producing excessive collagen that causes fibrosis in the skin or in internal organs. Anyone may take part and help to raise funds, support patients and raise awareness.

Oli’s Pet Stuff will host Paws for a Cure benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The family- and pet-friendly event will include vendors, refreshments, goody bags, giveaways, free nail trims and treats for pups, and a dog fashion show.

San Antonio Botanical Garden will begin hosting Summer Nights in the Garden, a weekly series of activities including food, drinks, live entertainment and a vendor market.
