Several San Antonio restaurants, bars and event venues are hosting New Year’s Eve dinner packages, parties or other special activities Dec. 31 for revelers ready to mark the end of 2021 and the arrival of 2022. Here are a few of the scheduled celebrations:

The Strong Group Association, a local company, invites community members to a New Year’s Eve party that will have live R&B and jazz music, a DJ, hors d’oeuvres, party favors, a cash bar and a midnight champagne toast. Celebrate SA, the city of San Antonio’s official New Year’s Eve celebration, returns after being canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic. There will be music on three stages between Hemisfair and La Villita on Alamo Street in downtown. There also will be a carnival with food, games and rides. Little Joe & La Familia, the award-winning Tejano Band, rings in the new year at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts with a show that includes a midnight toast.
