NISD officials said the United States is the final country represented in each Colonies North parade. Participating students also share facts about their native country.

NISD officials said, of the 617 students attending the school this year, approximately one-third are English Language Learners.

There are more than 25 identified languages spoken at Colonies North. In addition, some students speak more than three languages, NISD officials said.
