This downtown bar has officially opened its new hybrid location on San Antonio’s North Side.

Elsewhere Too opened its doors to the public for a grand opening on Oct. 4, according to their Facebook.
It’s located at 4513 N. Loop 1604 W., next to the Mission Ridge Range & Academy.
Owned by Terrin Fuhrmann, the new bar and event venue is the business's second in the Alamo City, with The Elsewhere Garden & Bar being an anchor near the River Walk.

Billy's Ice to reopen at new location, under new name in New Braunfels
Following its October closure, New Braunfels bar and live music venue Billy's Ice is making a comeback at a new location, under a new name later this fall.
What we know
Billy’s Ice closed its doors at 1193 Loop 337 in early October after Owner Bob Wilson sold the location, as previously reported by Community Impact. Now, the business is reopening at 6390 FM 1102 under the name Bobby's Ice.
Bobby's Ice has plans on opening within a few weeks, according to a Facebook post.

While Tex-Mex and breakfast tacos are abundant throughout San Antonio, Jose Castellanos said he wanted to put his own twist on the tried-and-true cuisine.
Some context
Hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, Castellanos said he has been in the restaurant and hospitality business for 45 years, managing and owning a variety of eateries for decades. So, to slow things down and “retire,” he decided to open Pollo Picosito in Live Oak in 2022—a spot that Castellanos said has become a local favorite.

McDonald's opening new location near Fair Oaks Parkway
McDonald's plans to open a location near QuikTrip off I-10 and Fair Oaks Parkway.
The site will feature McDonald's and Club Carwash, with both facilities under construction.

This will be the second McDonald's location in the Fair Oaks Ranch area, with another location at 25200 I-10 Lot 2 in San Antonio.

Local restaurant and brewery to open new pizza parlor in Boerne
28 Songs Brewhouse + Kitchen announced plans for a new eatery called Carmella's Pizza Parlor through a Facebook post in late September.
What we know
The pizza parlor is a new neighborhood concept being developed by Don Kretz, the owner of 28 Songs Brewhouse + Kitchen and Chef Zachary Disch, founder of Z's Pizza, according to the post.
Carmella's Pizza Parlor will be located at 110 N. Market Ave. in Boerne—next to the craft brewery. The pizzeria will serve traditional, New York-style thin crust pizzas with house made ingredients.
